1. Data We Collect

To provide conversational insights, the App processes the following data:

• Account Identifiers — Email address and authentication credentials provided during sign-up.
• Audio Data & Voice Recordings — Audio files generated when you use the voice journaling features. Audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and is not retained after processing.
• User Content — Text transcripts, journal logs, and open-ended text generated within the App.
• Diagnostics — Technical crash logs and performance metrics to maintain App stability.

2. Third-Party Data Processing (AI Services)

To generate reflections and insights, the App securely transmits user-generated text and transcripts to external artificial intelligence processing services (specifically Anthropic's Claude API).

• Your data is transmitted strictly for real-time processing.
• We explicitly configuration-gated data pipelines to ensure your inputs are not used by third parties to train underlying foundation models.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is stored securely using encrypted cloud database infrastructure.

• User Control — You retain full ownership of your data.
• Account Deletion — You can permanently delete your account directly inside the App settings at any time. Initiating account deletion triggers an immediate cascade that removes your user profile, authentication credentials, associated device tokens, and all stored text journals from our active database records.

4. Regulatory Compliance

• GDPR (EU/UK) — If you access the App from the European Economic Area, you hold the right to access, rectify, port, or erase your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation.
• CCPA (California) — We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers. You maintain the right to request data deletion under California privacy laws.
