1. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree that all activities occurring under your account are your sole responsibility. By creating an account or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Intellectual Property & User Content

  • Your Content — You retain full copyright and ownership over any voice recordings, text journals, and audio submissions you create using the App.
  • Our Platform — The App's interface, styling, processing pipelines, and proprietary code are the exclusive property of the developer.

3. Fair Use of AI Services

The App leverages advanced external AI frameworks to analyse your entries. You agree not to misuse the interface to deliberately generate malicious, defamatory, or structurally hazardous content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that systematically violate third-party model safety boundaries.

4. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

The App provides an automated, AI-driven conversational space for personal reflection and journaling purposes only. It does not constitute, provide, or substitute for professional medical, clinical, or psychological health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.

5. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time directly from the Account settings screen inside the App. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — all associated journal entries, conversations, and profile data are permanently removed from our systems.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Echo offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed monthly. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or from the billing portal at hiecho.app. Cancellation stops future charges — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Echo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
